English as a Second Language

English Language Program
For all international students admitted to the University with TOEFL scores below 213, and all other students interested in acquiring advanced and academic English speaking, listening, read, writing, and grammar skills.

International TA Program
Discipline-specific English language skills for international graduate students planning to serve as teaching assistants in their discipline.

English Composition Program
Special sections of English Composition classes designed for non-native speakers of English.

Commanding English Program
For freshmen admitted to the University through General College, for whom English is not the first language.
