The University of Minnesota has more than 250 exchange agreements and many informal linkages with institutions around the world, which provide opportunities for students and faculty to study, conduct research, develop contacts, and interact with people of a different culture.

Educational Partnerships Program, which encourages educational reform, economic
development, civil society, and mutual understanding through cooperation between
