Fulbright Scholar Awards for Faculty and Professionals
The Office of International Programs is the University of Minnesota campus representative for the Fulbright programs. Applications for current-year Fulbright awards are usually available during the spring.
Each year, the application deadline for traditional lecturing and research awards worldwide is August 1st, a year in advance of travel. The searchable awards catalog is available online.
All applications are available from the Council for International Exchange of Scholars (CIES).
The national office provides an online directory of current and recent U.S. Fulbright recipients and of Fulbright Visiting Scholars in the United States -- see below. In addition, OIP keeps a list of U of M recipients since 1988:
- University of Minnesota faculty Fulbright recipients 1988-2009
- University of Minnesota faculty Fulbright recipients by host country 1988-2009
