University Delegation to Africa
August 2008
Senior Vice President Robert Jones led a delegation of University officials to South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda in August to explore ways in which the University can increase their partnership in that region. The University delegation represented the Office of International Programs, the colleges of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resource Sciences; Veterinary Medicine, and Education and Human Development; and the schools of Public Health, Medicine, Nursing, and Dentistry. They visited eight campuses during the trip as well as meeting with numerous government officials and non-governmental organizations.
