Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul)

Minneapolis and St. Paul - the Twin Cities - form the major metropolitan center of the state of Minnesota, with about 2.8 million residents. Minneapolis, as the business center, and St. Paul, as the state capital, are both vibrant centers of culture, arts, sports and natural beauty. Many lakes and rivers grace the cityscapes, and Twin Cities residents enjoy outdoor activities in the area's four distinctive seasons. Fall foliage will be at its colorful peak during the October conference. The metropolitan area is home to the corporate headquarters of 3M, Medtronic, Allina, Cargill and General Mills, as well as the Vikings football and Twins baseball teams.
