Purpose:
The Carlson School of Management is committed to business education in a global context. Similarly, today's business environment demands students not only comprehend the challenges of globalization, but also understand first-hand the realities of a global market. As a result, International Programs at the Carlson School helps students find the best international experience to complement their business education. From teaching and research for faculty to Global Executive MBA Programs for professionals abroad and innovative international study for graduate and undergraduate students, the Carlson School offers a wide array of outstanding international opportunities.
Functions:
- Develops and maintains long-term relationships with top business universities around the world
- Hosts partner university exchange students and visiting fellows/scholars
- Develops opportunities for faculty to conduct research and teach abroad
- Plans and manages the Carlson School's Global Executive MBA degree programs in Vienna, Austria; Warsaw, Poland; and Guangzhou, China
Services:
- Manages all aspects of Global Executive MBA programs abroad
- Mentors GLOBE, the international business student organization
- Acts as an international information and travel resource for students, staff, and faculty both within the school and externally
