International Visitors

The University of Minnesota welcomes international visitors, whether in an official capacity, as a prospective student or staff member, or as an alumnus.

If you plan to visit the University in an official role or with a group or delegation, please contact Ms. Kathleen Sellew at the Office of International Programs. Our office can help direct you to the appropriate offices and individuals and arrange appointments, if necessary.

If you are a prospective international student, please contact Ms. Beth Isensee, international recruitment coordinator at the International Student and Scholar Services office.

If you are a prospective faculty or staff member, please contact the appropriate college or department where you will (or wish to) work.

If you were an international student or scholar on the Twin Cities campus in the past, contact Ms. Meaka Henningsen at the Office of International Programs. You may also contact International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) if you would like information about coming to the University again for study, research, or teaching. You might also find some interesting information on our Alumni Connections website, designed for international alumni, students who have studied abroad, and U.S. alumni living abroad.
